Our fast-paced construction company is seeking a reliable and motivated person to provide support to our project managers and estimators. We are looking for a self-starter who is willing to learn our business. A ‘whatever it takes’ attitude is what you’ll need to be successful. With this mindset there is no limit on your growth potential.

TYPICAL DAILY TASKS:

· Create contracts and purchase orders

· Send out invitations to bid to subcontractors

· Learn construction scheduling software

· Learn blueprint reading to assist with bidding

· Obtain material price quotes/purchase as needed

· Process job start up and close out documents

· Prepare bid books

· Research items online/purchase as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

· 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced high-volume work environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong negotiation skills

· Ability to prioritize tasks and remain organized

· Solid working knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Willingness and aptitude to learn new tasks related to construction

· Bachelor’s degree

· Strong work ethic

SALARY/BENEFITS:

· Full time position $19-$24 per hour to start depending on experience
