LaSalle Network has partnered with an IT solutions company that is focused on creating digital transformation for their clientele. They are seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer to join their team. This is a remote, contract opportunity.

Mainframe Systems Programmer Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve open issues related to the installation and deployment of DWC (Dynamic Workload Console)
• Address security inheritance and privilege escalation issues
• Resolve Connection Engine join/leave problems
• Manage mount point configurations and log file issues
• Troubleshoot JDBC connection issues with current versions of Db2
• Address server.xml hardcoded userid/password concerns

Mainframe Systems Programmer Requirements:

• Strong experience with USS on the mainframe
• Familiarity with DWC and HCL's TWS Workload Scheduler
• Ability to collect and provide data for issue resolution with IBM/HCL
• Experience installing fixes from IBM/HCL
