Job Title: Material Handler/Warehouse Worker(Picker/Packer)

Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Portland, OR 97230

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Ability to work overtime, including Saturday)

Description:

Works individually or as part of a team to perform order fulfillment tasks according to specifications.

Job Duties:

• Pick, pack, and prepare parts for shipment.
• Sort and store parts.
• Instruct and assist other team members.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Move and position loads with crane and order picker.

Specific Position Requirements:

• Physical Requirements:
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods.
• Bend, stoop, walk, kneel, etc.
• Required Safety Equipment:
• Metatarsal boots, gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses, and bump cap (Company provides all PPE except metatarsal boots).
• PPE must be worn for the entire shift.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good attendance.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work with close tolerances.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and written processes.
• Must have HS diploma or GED.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
