The Sample Coordinator will be the sample expert and key point of contact for all online samples for the Lulus Studio Team. This role will report to the Studio Manager while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure all samples and requests are appropriately tracked, accounted for, and returned in a timely, organized manner.
The person occupying this position is expected to work alongside Creative & Buying team members to receive and flow Ecom samples through all steps of the e-commerce asset production process.
What You'll Do
  • Support Creative Team deliverables with timely sample ordering, receiving, tracking, organizing, and maintenance, including samples used for both campaign shoots and e-commerce photography
  • Understand and communicate any specific sample variances that might impact photography to the Studio Operations Team
  • Work with the Studio Manager and cross-functional teams to identify any missing samples that need to be borrowed leading up to photoshoots. Return borrowed samples on time. If samples are unavailable, help to troubleshoot for alternative solutions
  • Place orders with distribution centers as needed for missing samples and one-off requests
  • Collect and send all samples to the photo studio for e-commerce photography shots
  • Keep sample closets organized. Manage the donation/disposal of samples at the end of a season to make room for the next season's samples
  • Work closely with Buying and Production teams to anticipate incoming samples, track shipments, and review sample inbound lists
  • Input sample data into creative production platforms (Creative Force, NetSuite, Admin, and Google Docs)
  • Maintaining sample library organization
  • Auditing and cycle scanning sample library to ensure location accuracy for all received samples on an as-needed basis
What You'll Need
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong time management and organization skills
  • Sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize and adapt quickly to change
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment while building cross-functional partnerships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced in MS Office and Google Suites (Excel, Word)
  • Must be able to safely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs
  • Have a strong sense of teamwork in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Nice to Have - Bonus Points!
  • College education preferred with 2 years in retail, merchandising, or styling role
  • Working knowledge of Capture One, Creative Force, and Bynder
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

This position does not offer remote work. It is a hybrid role, requiring candidates to be open to working three days in the office: Tuesday through Thursday.
