Since the beginning, our mission has been to bring a little taste of France to every customer every day, with a great smile, great coffee, and great food. Using only the freshest all-natural ingredients, everything we serve is made daily from scratch, from the breads and the pastries to the sauces and the salad dressings. A neighborhood staple that is warm and inviting and committed to being an important part of our communities by being socially and environmentally responsible neighbors.
Pascal began the brand with the Pine Street bakery in 1997 and by 2012 owned and operated 4 commercial ...bakeries and 22 cafe bakeries under the La Boulange brand. In July of 2012 Starbucks acquired La Boulange and Pascal and team went on to lead the Starbucks food division, helping to bring high quality, affordable artisan baked goods to many more people. In September of 2015, Pascal and Nicolas Bernadi bought the business back and reopened under the name La Boulangerie de San Francisco.
La Boulangerie de San Francisco has delighted its pastry loving fans by reopening a handful of former La Boulange locations across the Bay Area. A total of eight locations have opened so far and we look forward to additional locations in the near future.
