:

• Design, implement, and maintain software and firmware for portable SATCOM terminals that provide network connectivity from remote locations.
• Develop in C for multi-threaded, 32-bit (Linux) embedded systems.
• Develop in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for web application interfaces.
• Develop in C for multi-threaded, 8-bit (FreeRTOS) embedded systems.
• Develop in Python for hardware simulators.
• Participate in product testing to verify firmware functionality.
• Perform unit-level and system-level testing to validate design.
• Support other engineering teams and manufacturing with design and production.
• Support customers with fielded equipment.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree (BSEE, BSCE, BSCS) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience or Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• Able to obtain a US secret clearance.

Preferred Experience:

• Proficient in object-oriented languages and design.
• Familiar with software configuration management.
• Able to learn quickly and apply new concepts to development tasks.
• Able to work closely with other software engineers in a small team.
• Familiar with networking fundamentals and equipment.
• Familiar with RF principles and equipment.
• Able to operate multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
• Able to read electrical schematics.
