Job Title: Lead, Software Engineer - AWS Cloud Developer (TS/SCI Clearance) Job Code: 11078 Job Location: Melbourne, FL (NOTE: Onsite position with the customer) Job Description: L3Harris has an immediate opening for a Software Engineer familiar with architecting software solutions within an AWS cloud environment. The individual will support work in a dynamic classified environment to help us provide world class solutions in support of Intelligence and Cyber (I&C) programs that are critical to our national defense. In this role candidates will support development of a data fusion solution within an government high Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment, working as part of a larger team dedicated to the customer mission. Essential Functions: * Interact directly with customers to shape, define, and scope cloud solutions onsite at Patricks Space Force Base in Cocoa, FL
* Participate in a development team that uses agile methodologies combined with mature software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure
* Develop new software, adapt old software, and extend an existing software baseline to implement new capabilities and to mature existing capabilities using key enabling technologies and frameworks
Qualifications: * Active Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technologies, or related discipline with 9 years of software experience; or 7 years relevant software experience with a Graduate Degree. In lieu of degree, 13 years of software experience.
* Prior or current experience architecting software solutions for in aws cloud environment
* Prior or current experience in Python, Java or C programming languages
Preferred Additional Skills: * DoD r8570.01-M IAT Level 3 certification (Security )Familiarity with Agile development and processes as a product owner, including creating stories, backlog grooming, acceptance demos and managing scope vs time with sprint teams
* Experience developing and integrating cross-domain systems
* Familiarity with Kubernetes, microservices, or containerization using docker or related tools
