The brand's iconic Hot Light lets guests know when doughnuts are being made fresh in shop so they can enjoy hot doughnuts fresh off the line. To make Krispy Kreme's in-shop experience even sweeter, many shops across the globe feature the brands one-of-a-kind doughnut theatre, an immersive, interactive experience through which guests can see Krispy Kreme's melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts being made right before their eyes.

Krispy Kreme's New Market Opening (NMO) Manager works with Design, Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, IT, and Finance to ensure on-time and successful opening of all International markets. They provide project management and operations support to International Equity Operations and International Franchise Owners as well as Field Management throughout the new market opening (NMO) process end to end ensuring successful Market openings and consistent execution of brand standards.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Interface regularly with the Market Development Team on schedules for all new markets; review and forecast openings
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of field training materials and processes. Partners with their peer(s) to implement process improvements
  • Responsible for maintaining planning software/technology to ensure all project tasks are accurately tracked and communicated to key stakeholders
  • Work with International Equity Operations and International Franchisees to determine initial food orders for market launch
  • Manage and track project expenses from inception to completion
  • Manage US vendors and serve as the primary point of contact for coordination
  • Coordinate and track the ordering of all FF&E for each new market opening
  • Responsible for operations-readiness checklists to ensure timely and complete turnover
  • Responsible for timely resolution of process delays
  • Coordinates NMO support and follow-up with International Equity Markets
  • Develop and maintain new market opening procedures and playbooks for use by International Equity Operations and International Franchisees.
  • Responsible for coordinating with IS and other support groups to ensure proper set up of store systems
  • Maintain New Market Opening Timeline
  • Responsible for the New Market Opening scorecard, including reporting, analysis, and distribution
  • Manage NMO calls/meetings including agenda and recap for each
  • Reinforce consistency in market openings and work with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work with Innovation and Operations to coordinate training around new equipment
  • Work with International Equity Operations and International Franchisees to determine staffing needs, and subsequent training schedule
  • Lead the opening process of New Market Openings (NMO)
  • Maintain New Market Opening Timeline and ensure cross-functional alignment on the deliverables.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Undergraduate Bachelor's degree
  • 3-4 years Operations experience in QSR or related food concept
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, managing numerous projects and adapt to shifting priorities in a high pressure environment
  • Proven track record with NMO events
  • Strong communication skills - ability to collaborate with all functions; to build close relationships with internal and external partners of any background; and engage with senior stakeholders
  • Solid analytical capabilities and structured thinking.
