About the Software Engineer Role:

HPE GreenLake Cloud Services team is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated information developers. In this role, you will work as a member of a team documenting technical use cases used by GreenLake Central engineering teams.

All of our teams are full stack teams responsible for the full development lifecycle from ideation through development, deployment, documentation, and maintenance. 

Our systems are built using a modern micro-services architecture and released via continuous delivery methodologies. Our team is mostly comprised of local members based in Fort Collins Colorado working in a highly-productive, fast-paced environment using agile development practices. Remote possibilities exist for the right candidate.

How you’ll make your mark:

• You will work as a member of a scrum team partnering with cloud software platform engineers, product managers and internal development partners to document technical features and procedures as part of the GreenLake Cloud Platform.

• You will review and document designs, capabilities, operations and limitations for use by other technical teams and make edits and updates as needed.

• You will provide guidance and feedback to software developers in regards to documentation for new and existing features.

About you:

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in a technical field.

• You have experience with GitHub, Confluence / WIKI, or other publishing platforms

• You have an understanding of public cloud services: AWS, GCP, Azure or others

• You understand container orchestration technologies – Docker and Kubernetes

• You are able to learn quickly and work well independently

Highly Desired:

Prior experience creating technical documentation for cloud software teams

Experience documenting API’s or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

You have experience developing in or documenting modern software languages such as GoLang, Python, Rust or similar

• You are comfortable in a Linux environment

• You are familiar with microservice architecture and REST API’s,

• You have a high level of expertise working with Agile framework

• You have good analytical and problem solving skills
