Krapf Bus is seeking a Dispatcher for its West Chester, PA -Coach Division .

POSITION SUMMARY:

This office and field position dispatches drivers in accordance with contract requirements and in compliance with State and Federal regulations. Coordinate scheduling of trips from inception to completion. Responsibilities will encompass paratransit, transit and coach operations. This position also is available to perform diversified duties and to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• 2 years in a dynamic dispatch environment preferred
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid commercial drivers license with a passenger endorsement or willingness to obtain one.
• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle record, criminal history record and child abuse history record.
• Maintain valid drivers license, physical exam certifications
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles
• Excellent communication & customer service skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks during peak hours and remain calm and supportive of drivers
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Integrity and the ability to handle confidential information
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve and to exercise good judgment
