Position: Business Systems Analyst - Property Management Platform

What will I be doing?
As an Associate Business Analyst, Property Platform Engineering, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of innovative Hilton property capabilities and experiences in collaboration with product, business, and technology teams. This position will be committed to gathering and refining requirements for Clients next generation Property Management System (PMS) and the integration with a newly developed Tax Fee Surcharge engine (TFS). You will be responsible for coordinating the documentation, analysis, and validation of functional requirements, in partnership with Property product and business stakeholders.
You will work with multiple Technology workstreams to ensure project objectives are being met and the projects are completed on time and on budget. You will be expected to effectively communicate and participate in cross-functional teams and successfully identify risks and issues to manage expectations and to mitigate identified risks to delivery commitments.
More specifically you will:
Work with business teams to capture requirements and refine them for development teams using agile methodology and Confluence/Jira tools
Analyze new application bugs reported by hotel teams and QA teams and prioritize in line with the overall product backlog
Support prioritizing and managing the product backlog
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across technology, product and business teams to successfully deliver planned releases
Support special projects, as needed

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
Three (3) years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field
Two (2) years of Hotel experience, preferably in Front Office/Hotel Operations
Knowledge of Property Management systems
Travel: 20% as required
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Bachelors Degree, or Associates Degree plus 2 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 4 years of Technology related experience
Four (4) years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field
Three (3) of Hotel experience, preferably in Front Office/Hotel Operations
Two (2) years experience as a Business Analyst
Knowledge of tax & fee calculation rules for hospitality for US domestic and international markets
Knowledge of the Agile Methodology and prominent tools such as Jira and Confluence
