The trauma Clinician is a nurse who assists in the promotion of optimal trauma care and guidance for patients and their families before, during, and after hospitalization at Orange County Global Medical Center. This individual provides health care in a collaborative and consultative relationship with all members of the health care team providing care to trauma patients. Responsibilities of this role include advanced clinical practice, quality improvement, and education relating to the patient’s clinical progress during hospitalization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years ER/ICU/Trauma experience REQUIRED
• Current CA RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• CEN or CCRN (recommended)
• TNCC or ATCN, PALS (within 6 months of hire)
