Title: Senior Analyst, Epic Beaker
Location: New York City, Hybrid (3 days in the office, Wednesday mandatory)

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Senior Analyst, Epic Beaker. This candidate will be responsible for performing in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, and resolving technical issues associated with the use of Epic Beaker. This role involves interpreting end-user requirements, developing and documenting workflows, designing, building, testing, installing, and maintaining solutions. The Senior Analyst prioritizes and implements system change requests, coordinates software updates and enhancements, and supports related third-party systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, and technical issues associated with Epic Beaker.
• Interpret end-user requirements, discuss potential options, and help the client move towards optimal solutions.
• Develop and document workflows for use with Beaker, including designing, building, testing, installing, and maintaining solutions.
• Prioritize and implement system change requests, coordinate software updates, and manage change enhancements with end-users.
• Implement, support, and maintain related third-party systems.
• Utilize strong project management skills to lead meetings, prioritize tasks, resolve conflicts, maintain issues log, and manage project plans.
• Establish and maintain relationships with IT and operational leaders.
• Troubleshoot problems, address user questions, and provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
• Provide on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades.
• Develop and champion new ideas that add value to the organization.
• Participate in process design initiatives.
• Use critical thinking skills to provide system solutions and research best practices for implementation in projects and routine tasks.
• Review software, analyze business operations, and collaborate with colleagues, business representatives/subject matter experts, and end-users to ensure systems meet the organization's needs.
• Perform other duties as required.

Education & Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree
• Current Epic certification in Beaker Clinical Pathology and/or Anatomic Pathology
• 5 years of Epic analyst build, IT implementation, and/or support experience
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) and/or the pathology industry, including clinical laboratories, microbiology, surgical pathology, cytology, and blood bank
• Strong background in project management
• Experience with blood bank applications like WellSky or similar is preferred
