Operations Business Support Team Leader - **Job Number:**

220347 - Full-time Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM **Shift**

: 1st Shift Schneider is seeking an analytical Operations Business Support Team Leader to be responsibile for managing a team of associates who for invoice high revenue accessorials. You will be accountable for collection of all revenue opportunities by ensuring upfront identification of payment requirements and auditing execution of those requirements, proactively addressing charges not invoiced, determining and correcting root cause preventing collection, and making decisions on write-off/short pay situations. You will also assist with maintaining staffing for driver lumper calls, facilitating lumper invoicing processes, setting up new purchased transportation suppliers, reviewing and approving supplier invoices and determining correct cost allocation.

**About the role:**

* Lead the team by developing associates to identify and resolve issues that impact operational effectiveness and capture missed revenue opportunities by working with sales, customer service, operations, and other applicable internal personnel.

* Help team redesign processes to improve efficiency and capture revenue to meet established metrics.

* Ensure team exhibits excellent attention to detail by establishing internal auditing processes.

* Understand and help implement customer specific requirements by working directly with customer facing leadership.

* Lead and participate in accessorial design and testing to establish and maintain the connection between accessorial cost and billed revenue.

**Ideal candidates will have:**

* Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience plus a minimum of two years relevant work experience

* Ability to lead, coach, and develop others, set clear direction for associates and connect the enterprise vision to their work

* Expert knowledge of detention logic and consignee vendor payment, systems and processes to facilitate coaching, training, and problem solving with customers, direct reports and others involved in the Order to Cash process.
