**Summary**

Reporting to the CIO, this full-time, exempt salaried role is responsible for the planning, design, management and support of company-wide Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse (DW) initiatives. The function of the BI/DW Specialist is to understand organizational and team needs and create/manage the delivery of multiple cross-functional data, reporting and analytics projects. The position consults with multiple areas of Credit Union operations (Marketing, Finance, Technology, Operations and Executive), and will collaborate closely with all levels of leadership to define business challenges and strategic objectives, develop and implement statistical/data mining models, analyze data (internal/external) and report on findings.

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**

- Provide business intelligence and reporting for all areas of the Credit Union by leveraging analytics and reporting to measure business performance.

- Provide complete and accurate information and information/data delivery to business leaders by using systematic and automated procedures for extracting and reporting data.

- Develop and maintain operational reports/dashboards and associated analysis for the organization. Evaluate, create and deliver on data needs for assigned projects.

- Advance the use of data within the Credit Union to better understand business trends as future predictions.

- Understand Credit Union business goals and objectives and assist in data mining from multiple data sources to provide additional insights on various projects, processes and solutions.

- Engage with senior leadership across many functional areas to assess data analysis and business reporting needs and identify opportunities for continuous improvements across the organization.

- Serve as the technical expert responsible for the design, architecture, implementation and maintenance of BI/DW solutions, including data integrity and management strategies.

- Map configuration and complex data architectures, ensuring documentation remains current and accurate.

- Assist with daily IS operations/functions including the daily processing schedule, month end processing, case management, and support for the data processing software and ancillary systems. Performs all other duties and projects assigned.

**Qualifications and Certifications**

* Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field) preferred.

* 3 to 5 years of similar or related experience required.

* Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

* Proficiency with SQL and other query languages

* Microsoft Office applications

* Crystal Reports

* Microsoft SQL Server
