Job Expo Connect is Hiring a Program Business Analyst Near Atlanta, GA

Our client is seeking a skilled Program Business Analyst to join their Project Management Organization (PMO). This role is pivotal in enhancing program performance reporting and spearheading process improvement initiatives for two major customer-facing programs. The primary objective is to streamline program delivery activities by implementing automated and insightful reporting systems and driving initiatives to optimize project management and cross-functional business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple improvement teams utilizing Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or Six Sigma methodologies to achieve tangible results.
  • Proactively identify areas for process redesign and improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, profitability, cash flow, and customer satisfaction.
  • Offer expertise in process improvement methodologies and guide teams through implementation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional team efforts to enhance project and process communication and effectiveness.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of changes and monitor related metrics.
  • Develop comprehensive reporting tools for the PMO business unit.
  • Analyze program activities, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and trends, comparing them against service standards, best practices, and industry benchmarks. Present findings and collaborate with stakeholders to devise strategies aligning with tactical and strategic objectives.
  • Generate and track routine reports covering various aspects such as project/program progress, budget, financials, quality, productivity, and customer service.
  • Monitor team compliance with documented project management procedures.
  • Support the creation of executive presentations.
  • Conduct special studies and projects aimed at improving and standardizing processes within the organization.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of processes and policies to enhance operational efficiency and automation.
  • Lead or support various internal projects.
  • Identify, track, report, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience preferred.
  • Experience in project management, process optimization, problem-solving, facilitation, and consulting is desirable.
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, Project Management Institute PMP or CAPM, International Institute of Business Analysis ECBA or higher are desired.
  • Proficiency in managing complex data sets and creating/managing complex data models in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools like PowerBI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve unstructured problems independently.
  • Knowledge of systems and ability to identify process gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent communication, group facilitation, project management, and change management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills and the ability to develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations and process documents.
