**Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist**

**Mandate:** Help maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and efficiency in a clean, organized and safe environment while adhering to the policies and procedures set by the company. Support all warehouse functions to ensure inventory control is consistently maintained.

****Responsibilities:****

* Plan and execute all physical inventory counts including daily cycle counts

* Identify, investigate, and reconcile inventory discrepancies

* Conduct random audits in receipt putaways and customer orders to measure accuracy

* Ensure FIFO inventory method is followed

* Validate quantities, unit of measure, packaging, and labeling as required

* Recommend and help implement programs to improve management of inventory control functions

* Execute destruction of damaged or obsolete product as per instructions

* Perform filing, record keeping, and document organization as required (including records of all audits, counts and adjustments)

* Actively participate in the safety of the warehouse at all times

* Maintain equipment and cleanliness to company standards

* Perform other warehouse and inventory related duties as required, including support of all shipping, receiving and stock maintenance functions

****Key Competencies:****

* 2-3 years experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse facility in an inventory related role

* Must be able to navigate operating systems (including Microsoft Office programs) for data entry, editing and documentation printing, storage and retrieval

* Must possess solid math skills

* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to operate standard warehouse and office equipment, materials and tools

* Ability to lift, carry and move 50 pounds
