Summary:
The Payroll Specialist will deliver comprehensive payroll services under the guidance of the Director of Human Resources. This role encompasses a myriad of duties, from ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance with regulations, to managing timekeeping systems and addressing payroll-related queries. A crucial aspect of this role involves handling sensitive payroll data, and the Payroll Specialist is entrusted with maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.

The Payroll Specialist is anticipated to execute their responsibilities with utmost diligence, upholding the standards of the hospitality industry. Further, their professionalism should align seamlessly with the exemplary guest service ethos championed by Raincross Hospitality Management Corporation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll cycles accurately for all staff using Paychex.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Manage and ensure the accuracy of our timekeeping system.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all payroll-related questions from staff.
- Collaborate closely with HR, CFO, and department managers to ensure payroll accuracy and alignment with company practices.
- Attend relevant trainings, oversee payroll system upgrades, and engage in cross-functional projects.

Qualifications:
- A proactive approach to identifying and rectifying payroll inconsistencies.
- Strong dedication to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Advanced computer proficiency; experience with Paychex is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Experience in payroll processing or HR roles, especially within the hospitality industry, is a plus.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Spanish fluency is advantageous.

Additional Skills:
- Exceptional reasoning ability with strong conflict resolution skills.
- Physical capability to handle regular office tasks; occasionally lifting/moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:
The Payroll Specialist role is primarily situated in a shared cubicle space within the vibrant Riverside Convention Center. Amidst the typical noise of an office setting, you'll be surrounded by a team that's dedicated to excellence and collaboration. Some mobility within the building may be required, and occasionally you may get a chance to witness firsthand the events and gatherings that make the center a community hub. Compensation:
The pay range for this full-time position is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package will be available after a probationary period.
