Restaurant Server

Our fun and fast/casual Mediterranean restaurant in Sherman Oaks is hiring Servers for Saturday and Sunday lunch or dinner shifts, as well as some possible weekday shifts! If you love working in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant and have some background in food service, we would love to meet you! We are looking for friendly and personable candidates who have a desire for and enjoy offering customers an excellent dining experience.

The ideal candidate is 18 years or older as we serve delicious wines and craft beers. You must be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays, along with one weekday shift a week. Tips are shared or "pooled" between the front of house and back of house staff.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and take orders.
• Become knowledgeable about all menu items and restaurant services.
• Accurately prepare and package orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow established safety and sanitation procedures for food handling and preparation.
• Monitor inventory levels and ingredient shortages and out-of-stocks.
• Complete all assigned housekeeping and property maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Experience:

• Be a fast learner, self-motivated and reliable.
• Have proven work experience in casual dining restaurants.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
• Food Handlers/Safe Serv certification required after hire.
• Be able to carry up to 50 pounds and stand for at least 6 hours during a shift.
• Excellent References.

Shift & Pay:

• Saturday and Sunday availability on both days is a MUST!
• Part-time, 3 days a week.
• Minimum wage plus pooled tips!
