High Level Statement of the Role
The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the quality of the manufacturing of products on a day-to-day basis within the framework of the quality system as well as supervising production personnel.
Technical production supervisor responsible for leading Electronic Test Technicians and Tester personnel in testing and troubleshooting of analog, digital and RF circuit boards and Unit Assemblies. Interpreting and following the production schedules to delegate work to the appropriate test operator. Ensuring that the production schedules are met on time. Uncovering defect trends and working with quality and management to reverse. Must be familiar with various forms of in circuit and functional testing techniques and platforms. Able to communicate and work directly test engineers in supporting the implementation of new test platforms and techniques. When not leading the test team must be fully capable of testing and troubleshooting products. Proficient use of various test apparatus such as multimeters, analyzers, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, counters, Gen Rad/HP/Teradyne ICT Platforms and flying probe testers.
Ability to work in a high mix manufacturing test environment.

  • Provide direction and leadership to production personnel

  • Ensure all employees comply with KETA policy & procedures, e.g. ESD, Safety, etc...
  • Support the Quality System
  • Ensure the quality of the product that is manufactured

  • Participate in and provide performance feedback to employees
  • Maintain department reports and records
  • Address employee concerns and escalate to Sr. Management as necessary
  • Ensure a harassment free workplace
  • Participate in evaluation and selection of candidates
  • Administer disciplinary action when necessary
  • Support team to achieve plant metrics as it relates to safety, scrap reduction, quality and output
  • Other duties assigned
