JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the Warehouse Supervisor is to maintain inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items; securing warehouse; supervising staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Maintains all receiving, warehousing, and distribution (Shipping & Delivery) operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  2. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures.
  3. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning, organizing, inspecting equipment. Requisitions for Repairs or replacement.
  4. Ensures accuracy of parts inventory by performing cycle and random bin counts.
  5. Maintains & creates bin location so that all parts have a respective location according to size and/or product group.
  6. Manage all internal & external customer returns and credits
  7. Manages Parts Department vehicle fleet and operators of vehicles; track maintenance, Daily vehicle inspection, cleanliness, load securement procedures and safety training
  8. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  9. Maintains warehouse staff by assisting in recruiting, selecting staff and orienting and training employees.
  10. Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  11. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed to meet parts department goal and objectives
  12. Coordinates and cooperates with other functional staff and Managers.
  13. Participates and prepares warehouse for annual inventory to insure all bin locations are organized and maintained, all parts have a bin location.
  14. Responsible for preforming and tracking damaged freight claims or lost shipments. 
  15. Responsible for preforming and monitoring MDI returns to Paccar. 

QUALIFICATIONS
Have a high school diploma, or equivalent (preferred)
Professional experience minimum 5 years of general warehouse experience including a minimum of two years in a supervisor position.
Proven ability to set and achieve goals
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheet software and Intranet software
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers
Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of ownership, accountability and initiative

WORKING CONDITIONS
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; significant climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 20% sitting, 40% walking, and 40% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness. Driver/warehouse positions may require lifting of up to 50lb. without assistance. Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
