Job SummaryHazard Community and Technical College invites applications for our part-time adjunct faculty pool for Advanced and Professional Technologies. Potential areas of need may be in the fields of Air Conditioning Tech; Auto Tech; Construction Tech; Computer Aided Drafting and Design/Surveying; Cosmetology; Diesel Tech; Electrical Tech; Heavy Equipment; Manufacturing Tech; Unmanned Systems Tech and Welding Tech. This position is considered a temporary, part-time position used to fill both online and in person courses.
Job DutiesPlans and carries out instruction, instructional activities and prepares learning materials.
Provides instruction and training to students in one of the particular technical programs listed above.
Prepares lesson plans (as needed) and maintains records and reports on student attainment, attendance/activity and progress.
Utilizes approved online course templates as needed and syllabus format, maintains labs, classroom order and discipline.

Applicants accepted for online course assignments will be required to complete a Faculty Certification Training Program for Online Instructors and meet (online or in-person) with a member of the distance learning staff.
