Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Lab Glassware Cleaning Technician to join our scientific team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and thorough cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of laboratory glassware and equipment. The Lab Glassware Cleaning Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our research and development activities by ensuring the availability of sanitized and functional glassware for experiments and analyses.

Job Specifications:
  • Job Type: Part-Time
Responsibilities:
  • Glassware Cleaning and Sterilization:
  • Execute proper cleaning and sterilization processes for various types of laboratory glassware, including but not limited to beakers, flasks, pipettes, and test tubes.
  • Adhere to established protocols and safety guidelines to maintain the integrity and quality of glassware.
- Equipment Maintenance:
  • Regularly inspect and maintain laboratory glassware cleaning equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and report any issues with equipment promptly.
- Inventory Management:
  • Manage inventory of clean glassware to meet the demands of ongoing experiments and projects.
  • Coordinate with laboratory staff to understand specific requirements and prioritize cleaning accordingly.
- Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with laboratory researchers and assistants to understand specific cleaning requirements and timelines.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless coordination in providing clean and sterilized glassware.
- Quality Control:
  • Perform quality checks on cleaned glassware to ensure compliance with cleanliness and sterilization standards.
  • Report any deviations or issues in the cleaning process and work towards continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of safety protocols in a laboratory setting.
