Actalent is Hiring a Quality Assurance Technician Near Milwaukee, WI

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will perform quality inspections, conduct audits, and utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.

Duties:
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products
- Conduct quality audits to assess compliance with quality systems, QA/QC procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Utilize micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to measure product dimensions and specifications
- Document and report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes
- Ensure adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
- Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to perform dimensional inspections

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and quality control principles
- Experience in conducting quality audits and inspections
- Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with HACCP and CGMP guidelines
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of quality issues
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
