Where You Come In:

KCF Technologiesis seeking participants in many areas of study to contribute to our high-performing teams as part of the Future Innovators Internship Program. This 10-week, full-time paid program June 3 – August 9 will take place at our KCF Headquarters in-person, or remotely, depending on where home is for you. With our work from home, work from anywhere policy, the choice of where to work is yours.

Our home base is our headquarters in State College, PA, but you will find KCF Teammates spread across 27 different U.S. States with our flexible remote model. We give you the autonomy to define how and where you do your best work!

Essential Functions:

• Create engaging visuals to help illustrate educational lesson to our customers. Subject matter may range from very technical, for instance a technical drawing of a pump or engine system or components, to more artistic, showing people doing different poses or motions, or activities happening in different work environments.
• Determine how best to show abstract ideas using concrete visuals, taking written documentation of a concept and creating visual media to accompany it and make it more clearly understandable to the listener.
• Create 2D and 3D still images.
• Create 2D and 3D animations.
• Participate in design discussions related to individual courses, and to our overall learning management platform website.
• Help define a consistent visual style for the KCF Academy learning platform.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts or similar in progress
• Interest in machine health or data analysis a plus
• Outstanding visual creativity
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Familiarity with Adobe products including Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and Animate required
• Familiarity with VideoScribe whiteboard animation software is a plus
• Demonstrates leadership in field of study, extra-curricular activities or service organizations
• Willingness to ask questions, take initiative and be resourceful and inventive
• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization, customers, and stakeholders as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability present to executive level audiences
• Proven ability to deliver creative solutions to complicated problems
