Position Information
The NDSU Transition and Access Program (TAP) is a college program designed to be inclusive for students with intellectual disabilities, situated at North Dakota State University.
We are seeking a dedicated Tap Program Coordinator to oversee the operations of the NDSU TAP program. In this role, you will be tasked with coordinating various aspects of the program, including employment, academic, and social activities for students enrolled in TAP.
Responsibilities encompass implementing overarching program objectives, supervising project personnel, and ensuring the smooth management of daily schedules and student requirements across academic, employment, independent living, social, and wellness domains.
Coordinate alignment with NDSU systems & practices- Facilitate Person Centered Planning (PCP) Plans- Complete all student program documentation- Provide program administrative duties and responsibilities including budget, reporting, data collection and accreditation compliance, and managing of staff- Oversees program development including public awareness, student recruitment, development of public and private partnerships and promotion of the TAP program- Oversees program capacity building and sustainability planning including feasibility and the development of alternative funding opportunities and sources
Work Schedule :
This is a 10 month position (July 15 to May 15) Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM, break and summer hours 7 : 30AM-4PM

Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of directly related work experience- 3-5 years of demonstrated professional experience working with individuals with disabilities- Case management experience- Working knowledge of educational law in K-12 and Higher Education- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Excellent interpersonal skills- Reliable, organized, self motivated, ability to prioritize and adaptable
Preferred Qualifications :
3-5 years of demonstrated professional experience working in an educational setting- Masters degree in special education, education, counseling, rehabilitation services, psychology, social work or related fields- Experience in post-secondary educational settings
