Overview:

Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated firm designated one of the Best Companies to Work For among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with a minimum of 2 years of experience for its Woodbury, Long Island office. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.

Qualifications:
  • JD from an ABA accredited Law School.
  • Admission to practice law in NY.
  • A minimum of 2 years of employment litigation experience including discrimination, harassment, wage & hour and employment contract cases.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment statutes.
  • Experience developing strategy, drafting pleadings, taking/defending depositions, arguing motions and the capability of working independently.
  • Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies is also beneficial.
  • Strong academic credentials and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

The total annual compensation range for this position is $105,000 - $120,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
