Summary of the Role:  As the Supply Chain Technician, you will play a key role in the Supply Chain and Logistics department to support every stage of the production flow, from purchasing the raw materials to the delivery of the final product.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Label units in preparation for distribution
• Assist with streamline inventory techniques and procedures
• Perform inventory cycle counts to ensure accurate signals are being loaded into Leaf trade
• Support Supply Chain Supervisor with labeling and shipment prep requirements
• Provide recommendations for increased efficiency in supply chain processing
• Organize Vault inventory to support MTS methodology
• Maintain working knowledge of safety when handling various products.
• Operate forklift
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Support and participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with Research & Development projects as assigned
• Perform all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned

Qualifications: 

• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of supply chain processes and good knowledge of relevant software and ERP systems
• Require great project management and problem-solving skills
• Must be at least 18 years old 

• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to adapt to changes, delays or unexpected events in the work environment.
• Ability to change approach or method to best fit the situation
• Ability to maintain focus for extended periods of time
• Working knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, and labeling machines
• Ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal 
• Ability to respond to management direction; ability to complete tasks on time or notify the appropriate person with an alternate plan when necessary
• Ability to maintain satisfactory relationships with others, excellent customer service skills, and a good overall understanding of appropriate human relations
• Ability to make prudent and timely decisions while exhibiting sound and accurate judgment
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and to write simple correspondence
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to identify and/or prevent problems before they occur and to formulate alternative solutions to problems when necessary
• Ability to complete duties, on time and with absolute precision, at least 95% of the time

Physical and Environmental Requirements: 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

• Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts 
• Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays 
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 pounds 
• Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday 
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time 
• Clearly see 20 feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness).
• No allergies to plants or plant environment
• Work can be dirty/sticky and may leave you smelling like cannabis at the end of the day
• Work will be in a warehouse setting: temperatures may vary from warm to cool
• Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.
