As a Medical Assistant, you will :
  • Greet and register patients according to established protocols
  • Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation including medical insurance information
  • Answer multi-line phone calls and return calls
  • Collect payments
  • Respond and comply to requests for information
  • Share information gathered from patient with appropriate team members in a more comprehensive care of the patient
  • Prepare examination room
  • Explain care to patients
A Day in the Life:
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Coordinate patient care through the clinic-waiting room, exam room
  • Measure vital signs (Blood pressure, heart rate, weight etc.)
  • Maintain and manage patient records
  • Assist in medical procedures
  • Complete other clerical duties as assigned -Maintain office supplies and ensure office is well maintained, neat, and cleaned

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A personal commitment to a person-centered approach, along with strong relationship-building, communication, and active listening skills required
Requirements
We are excited about you if you have these things:
  • A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook Scheduling and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize multiple tasks
  • High school diploma is required
