Description
Aurora's Software Solutions team is building the global investment analytics platform for the energy transition. Widely adopted by leading energy companies and investors, the platform changes the way that energy market analytics is performed and delivered. In order to develop this platform in lockstep with what users need, and enable users to meet their complex requirements through our software products, Aurora is developing a global Customer Success team that sits at the critical interface between the software development teams and the end users.
We are currently looking for an ambitious Associate to join the Customer Success team in Austin as keystone member of the team's NORAM hub. The successful candidate will combine technical power markets knowledge with keen analytical ability and fine-tuned business acumen, and be able to seamlessly navigate and communicate the complexities of power markets forecasting to clients. They will be comfortable operating in a highly cross-functional role and developing close relationships with clients across the energy sector as they play a driving role in one of Aurora's key strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support leading developers, utilities and funds to integrate Aurora's software products into their decision-making processes
  • Guide customers as they use the Aurora software suite to conduct asset valuations and construct long-term power market scenarios to inform their market view, leveraging your power markets expertise and understanding of Aurora's modelling
  • Collaborate with the team leadership to develop the regional hub and coordinate resources across a range of strategic activities
  • Champion product use cases and implement strategies to engage with software accounts across the region's user base in order to maximize product adoption
  • Train new accounts to become proficient users of Aurora's software, and support ongoing usage through query troubleshooting and adhoc workshops
  • Understand client pain points and convey these back to product teams such that product roadmaps can be refined in line with the needs of the user base
  • Monitor, track and report on the health of software accounts in the region, taking steps to effectively anticipate and solve incidents before escalation
  • Implement initiatives to promote Aurora's software community within the region
What we are looking for
Required attributes:
  • We will consider candidates who have at least 3 years of experience at a major consulting or tech firm, energy company, financial services company, or other knowledge-driven firm or institution
  • Deep interest in the energy transition and SaaS products, with a good understanding of power markets
  • Excellent process management skills, able to collaborate cross-functionally in order to drive new complex initiatives, with experience in leading and delivering time-critical projects
  • Competent in stakeholder management and dedicated to providing value to clients
  • Self-starter with creative problem-solving approach and able to rapidly assimilate new knowledge
  • Sound ability to analyse, interpret and derive insights from complex quantitative data and information
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to explain complex topics to both technically and non-technically minded parties and across different seniority levels
Desirable attributes:
  • Leadership experience
  • Power markets modelling experience
  • Well-versed in SaaS products and processes, including the software user journey
