Jump Start Pediatric Therapy is Hiring a Patient Care Coordinator Near Coeur d'Alene, ID

Jump Start Pediatric Therapy is seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. Strong candidates will have the education and prior medical front office experience to perform responsibilities in partnership with our Front Office Manager. This position is perfect for someone seeking part- to full-time, long-term employment in a fun, team-oriented clinical setting. The successful candidate will have an upbeat “can do” attitude and be capable of efficiently organizing and prioritizing tasks with accuracy in a lively clinic environment. Training and mentoring will be provided to support your successful transition into this key role. Pay will be based on demonstrated skills and experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Greeting and checking in patients

· Answering multi-line phone system

· Managing new patient referrals and registration

· Managing schedules for multiple providers

· Verifying insurance eligibility and assisting with insurance pre-authorization

· Accepting and applying payments

· Billing medical insurances and invoicing patient accounts

· Creating and maintaining electronic medical records

· Faxing, filing, and scanning.

· Managing timely internal and external communications

· Orienting families to our practice

Requirements:

· High school diploma plus prior education or demonstrated experience in healthcare administration, medical billing/coding, medical records, or similar relevant skills.

· Recent prior experience in a multi-provider medical front office position with similar front office responsibilities.

· Demonstrated knowledge of medical front office functions, including patient registration, scheduling, electronic medical record, insurance billing, and patient account invoicing.

· Proficiency with medical EMR systems, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.

· Efficient use of standard office equipment.

· Deep respect for policies, procedures, and ethics with the ability to inspire the same in others.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
