Jsm Associates is Hiring an Inventory Control Supervisor (CVG) Near Hebron, KY

JSM Airport Services, LLC (a subsidiary of JSM & Associates, LLC) is seeking a professional, skilled individual as an Inventory Control Supervisor at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), located in Hebron, KY. This is a "hands-on" position that will be heavily involved in all aspects of controlling our customer’s spare parts inventory. The Inventory Control Supervisor is tasked to maintain an inventory of spare parts to enable our maintenance technicians to perform repairs. The Inventory Control Supervisor is charged with keeping inventory at a level where the maintenance operation can perform at maximum efficiency. Additionally, the Inventory Control Supervisor supports the operation’s maintenance technicians and other functions within the organization. The Inventory Control Supervisor has accountability for the performance of the team of parts clerks and will report to the Site Manager.
Essential Duties /Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the timely ordering, receiving, and controlling of all necessary parts for the repair of customer equipment
  • Supervise, direct, train and develop a team of Parts Coordinators, providing daily direction
  • Manage parts inventory effectively and ensure proper control of all stock locations
  • Maintain a tidy, safe and well-organized stock room
  • Prepare open stock, order status and usage reports (daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Schedule and coordinate semi-annual physical inventory counts
  • Define and follow standard policies and procedures to ensure internal and Customer inventory reporting requirements are consistently met; develop and document internal processes and workflows
  • Optimize inventory levels, establishing min/max levels and eliminating excess and obsolete
  • Identify and implement technology and tools to improve parts distribution/usage tracking
  • Perform periodic analysis and reports on usage, warranty, OEM/vendor analysis, etc.
  • Coordinate various parts refurbishment/rebuilding programs with vendors and our customer
  • Work collaboratively with management and the customer to identify and implement strategic vendor relationships

Qualifications/Experience

  • 3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse management, or parts procurement
  • 2 years of experience in supervising and managing staff
  • Strong working knowledge of Inventory Management/Control concepts and processes
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Experience with Inventory Control, MRP or ERP software applications is required
  • Experience with Fiix CMMS software preferred
  • Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress, offering solutions to resolve issues.
  • Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task, and able to manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly professional and dependable; safety and customer service oriented
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen (we are a Drug-Free workplace)
  • Must be able to obtain, and maintain, security clearance by undergoing a Ten (10) year Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
Education
  • High School Diploma or Genera Education Degree (GED) required, preference to Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or combination of education and experience. Some post high school education or training preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and must be able to sit, send, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Regular exposure to work near moving mechanical parts
  • Occasional exposure to hot, cold, wet or humid conditions
The applicant must be able to successfully pass a drug screen (we are a Drug Free Workplace), a drivers' license check and validation, federal fingerprinting and security threat assessment as well as airport security badging; security clearance must be maintained for continued employment.
