Housekeeping Staff Salary: $16.00 per hour.

Housekeeping Staff Shifts: Full-time 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm Shifts. Alternating Weekends, Holidays.

Our Environmental Services Department is seeking experienced Housekeeping Staff for long term care nursing facility in Yonkers, NY .

Housekeeping Staff Responsibilities

Performing routine housekeeping, porter, and laundry duties. Maintain propercleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.

. Clean vacant rooms and general areas assigned. Daily floor care and garbage removal.

. Process the linen for the facility and personal residents clothing.

Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Housekeeping Staff Qualifications

• Prior experience in Environmental Services preferred; we will provide on-the-job training for entry-level candidates. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, other personnel, and the public.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
