This role supports the mission to Share Christ – Love People by developing and executing, through Agile methodology (Scrum) best practices, high-quality and rapid delivery of essential Joyce Meyer Ministries services, technology, and products by working with Stakeholders to understand their needs and developing a vision and product backlog that aims to achieve the vision.

Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain and optimize Scrum backlog based on the changing needs of the customer and ensuring the best possible value for Joyce Meyer Ministries
• Strategically lead and guide Scrum team to the best outcomes by helping communicate the vision to the team
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure that feasible business objectives are met as agreed
• Understand sponsors and product champions vision to deliver solid solutions
• Review solution designs and plans ensuring user stories are clear and flow well
• Build and maintain relationships with Stakeholders, other Product Owners, Product Champions and Business Owners/Sponsors
• Participate in developing product road map through the portfolio process
• Understand how portfolio and other products affect solutions being built
• Communicate progress, coordinate and collaborate on products and releases to business owners and stakeholders regularly with an understanding of business and sponsor priorities
• Attend Scrum Team ceremonies
• Provide constructive support to facilitate demos and customer feedback as well as manage user acceptance
• Support the Scrum Master to help the Scrum Team to enhance performance and teamwork
• Coach Scrum teams to recognize opportunities and leverage their skills to collaboratively complete sprints and business objectives

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business, engineering, or technology
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Work well in a team to achieve common goals
• Demonstrated functional and conceptual understanding of technical matter
• Excellent organizational skills
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies and IT project management
• Ability to communicate complex ideas, issues, and designs to varied audiences.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes a plus
• Ability to work both independently with minimal direction and in a team environment
• Ability to interact within all levels or an organization
• Ability to work at a fast pace and on multiple tasks at once
• Ability to think creatively and motivate others
• Able to determine and resolve dependencies on other teams or people
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team-oriented with transparent communication based on integrity
• Active listener and detail oriented

Education:

• BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related subject
• Experience as a Product Owner a plus
