The Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations leads the establishment of the strategic planning cadence and process to drive alignment of the highest priorities to the Global R&D organization. This includes accountability for crafting the annual 'Game Plan' to ensure alignment of the Objectives and Key Results to business strategic pillars. Another key component of this role is working closely with the CIO and the Senior Leadership Team on the development and execution of the R&D IT strategy and providing the vision and messaging in key communications with our Business Partners. This role will report to the Director of Strategy, Portfolio & Operations for the R&D Global Technology organization of J&J's pharmaceutical business.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic planning process and collaborate with CIO & Senior Leadership to build a strategic plan
• Support the development of the Global Technology strategy/roadmap and ensure its alignment with the Business
• Lead in the creation and definition of its Objectives and Key Results (annual goals & objectives)
• Ensure the development and execution of processes that ensure strategies, outcomes, and key performance indicators are reviewed, tracked, measured, and updated
• Play a significant role in helping to manage the R&D Strategic Governance Councils (helping drive the IT Portfolio Prioritization)
• Support CIO engagements including development of content (presentation materials, messaging, talking points)
• Form and maintain strategic relationships and partnership with relevant leaders, leadership teams, and partners across R&D Business Technology & broader JJT teams.
• Provide governance for Compute consumption across the various R&D business functions (Lead meetings with both IT and Business Partners to provide visibility and controls for VPCx and SuperCluster usage)
• Support operations of the R&D Business Technology organization and senior leadership team (Office of the CIO)
