Job Title
Material Handler
2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 2:15pm-12:45am (10-hour days)! Off on Friday!

Warehouse Management
GENERAL PURPOSE
Material handlers distribute raw materials, packaging components, parts, and supplies to production areas. Material handlers have the ability to operate, clean, and maintain a high volume pace, which is necessary to complete production requirements and all other duties as directed.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Documentation
- Ion Labs Batch record paperwork, used for pulling materials needed for production.
- Receiving log book.
- Shipping bill of ladings.
- Forklift Inspection Log Books.
-Warehouse Inspection Log Book.
Warehousing
- Accurate and timely completion of pulling materials needed for production.
- Distribute raw materials, packaging components, parts, and supplies to production areas, based on information from incoming requisitions or Ion Labs batch records.
- Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover.
- Process Returns and rollover quantities for campaign batches in real time.
- Require heavy lifting up to 55 lbs. daily, with help.
- Support manufacturing, material handling activities.
- Assist in miscellaneous warehouse duties as needed and directed by management.
Cleaning
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Protection:
- Hairnets and Beard covers are required in this area.
- Uniform provided.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Requires basic addition, multiplication and division skills to calculate product counts.
Experience Working knowledge of production and warehouse operation, typically resulting from 2 years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Heavy lifting required.
- Computer skills needed: Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel, WMS.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
- Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack and forklift in congested areas.
- Must have physical ability to work on feet for a full shift, regularly lift and carry heavy containers, and perform all duties of job in a safe manner.
- Must be available to work OT, weekends and Holidays if requested by Manager.
- All other duties as assigned by Manager.
Certification or License Department GMP and SOP requirements.
Must obtain a forklift certification within six months of attaining position.
Must have a valid FL DL.
Pallet jack training.
