What are we looking for? We are searching high and low for a fantastic Sales Consultant for our Phillips Wine and Spirits Division, and it might just be you! You will have an established sales territory and will be provided training and guidance. In this position you will be servicing and selling wine and spirits to both On Premise and retail stores/off-premise accounts in the vicinity of the Duluth and surrounding areas. Sales Representatives are responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in-store tastings, and servicing accounts. This also includes merchandising activities such as: shelf placement, maintaining cold boxes, building displays and stocking inventories. Daily Activities: • Consistently be in contact with your customers; handling any issues in a timely manner • Ability to multitask at a high level and meet sales cutoff deadline on the daily • The ability plan and execute sales initiatives, making effective sales presentations • Managing On- Premise responsibilities • Search out and nurture new accounts • Meeting and exceeding sales goals will be great for you and the business! • Merchandising: focus on display size and location, shelf standards, product rotation, etc. • Inventory checks, along with efforts to minimize ordering mistakes You will Need to Have: (Skills AND Requirements) • BA/BS college degree or related industry experience • Passion for selling; highly driven, motivated, and enthusiastic • Ultimate focus on our customers and our business • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record – REQUIRED • Reliable transportation and proof of insurance - REQUIRED • Communication skills need to be articulate, clear and concise • Ability to lift up to 54 lbs of product above 60 inches • Prefer some route sales experience Computer and Application Skills: • Comfortable using mobile devices for inventory and other tasks • Experience with a Point-of-Sale systems Equal Opportunity Employer Johnson Brothers is committed to providing equal employment opportunity and equal treatment in employment without regard to race, ethnicity, color, religion, gender/gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, military status or any other basis in protected by applicable federal, state and local law.
