As we expand, we're looking for a 2 Field Ice Machine Technicians to fortify our MA/RI/CT market presence.

Overview: As an Ice Machine Technician, you'll be at the forefront of field service, focusing on the upkeep and repair of ice machine equipment. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be a linchpin in ensuring service excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Diligently maintain and repair ice machine equipment.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of service tasks.
• Collaborate with the Parts Department for precise parts identification.
• Organize and maintain a systematic truck, ensuring accurate tool and part inventory.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and devise efficient solutions.
• Engage with manufacturers for equipment diagnostics.
• Cross-sell JWS's broad range of services to customers.

Physical Demands and Driving Requirements

• The Field Refrigeration Technician role involves physical activity, including walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, bending, twisting, and turning for the better part of an 8-hour workday. Additionally, candidates should be prepared for windshield time, which involves driving between client locations to perform service visits.

What You Bring

• A customer-first mindset coupled with genuine empathy.
• High School diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
• Self-driven nature, ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
• Proficiency in gas, electric, plumbing, and/or steam repairs (a plus).
• 2-3 years' experience in refrigeration or ice machine equipment repair.
• Strong organizational skills and a team-centric attitude.

Position Type: Full-time 

Salary : $50,000.00 - $65,000 per year
