We are hiring an IT Applications D365 Technical Lead to oversee System Code Administration of D365 F&O/SCM including maintenance, upgrades, security and providing internal support to our Technical and business users and/or vendor partners.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
  • Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics D365 F and O/SCM solutions based on business requirements using best practices including extensibility of code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements for system enhancements
  • Write, modify, and maintain code in X to enhance the functionality of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
  • Write, modify, and maintain T-SQL code to enhance reporting and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations data mining requirements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for all customizations and development
  • Integrate Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations/SCM with other enterprise applications, using DMF and other tools ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability
  • Develop and implement data migration strategies
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations related issues
  • Provide EDI technical support as required
  • Collaborate with end-users to identify and resolve system issues promptly
  • Plan and execute upgrades for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations/SCM using RSAT and other regression testing processes
  • Perform regular system maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct thorough testing of customizations and development to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Work closely with departments to address and resolve any identified support issues
  • Share knowledge and expertise with other team members to promote continuous learning and development
  • Assist in assessment of new releases and help to coordinate regression testing processes including RSAT
  • Coordinate and perform database refreshes
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for technical system administration tasks
  • Monitor and communicate maintenance notifications
  • Monitor performance Dynamics 365 environments
  • Deploy and manage developer environments
  • Assist to maintain user access and security roles
  • Provide as needed support for troubleshooting and remediation of technical issues
  • Manage and coordinate with Microsoft through to resolution raised technical system issues
  • Participate in all phases of the Solution Delivery Life Cycle including planning, requirements definition, solution design, test execution, and implementation of Dynamics related business solutions
  • Work collaboratively with the functional IT team to build, test, deploy, and maintain configurations using custom and industry common practices throughout multiple environments (e.g., Sandbox/DEV/QA/UAT/PROD)
  • Respond to incidents and events with a methodical approach to assess and troubleshoot all types of production (performance, access, accuracy, etc.) issues
  • Lead and/or participate in analysis sessions with functional super users/ business analyst to determine application requirements for new implementations or enhancements and facilitate workshops to demonstrate proof of concepts
  • Ability to logically troubleshoot technical problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaboration, analytical, and teamwork skills. Demonstrated ability working in a collaborative and transparent environment
  • Ability to mentor team members and transfer knowledge to others

  • Contribute to the technology roadmap for the organization with respect to the Dynamics ecosystem
  • Assists in the appropriate completion of all project management, change and quality control documentation using department standards
  • Documenting and cross-training team members for support continuity.
  • Propose modifications and enhancements to improve functionality or address any issues that arise
  • Identify, evaluate, and document risks
  • Other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
  • Minimum 5 years D365 F and O/SCM X experience with creating specifications, coding, packaging projects, migrating and deploying code changes
  • Extensive creation of technical design documents and properly testing of modifications/integrations throughout project lifecycle
PREFERRED:
  • Azure services and Power Platform experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 full project lifecycle implementations of D365 F and O/SCM
