About the role:
As a DevOps Engineer you could work with bleeding edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve integrating software applications, identifying internal client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups.
What you will be doing:
•Maintain CI/CD software delivery pipelines & tools for an enterprise scale system.
•Maintain private and public cloud Infrastructure
•Maintain container-based applications
•Write and run ad-hoc scripts (using Bash, Python etc.) to automate DevOps processes
•Participate in creating long-term and short-term strategies for scaling cloud environments
•Work with development teams to troubleshoot specific issues by recreating tests, validating configuration, etc.
•Provide deployment support by deploying applications in cloud environments
•Advance DevOps processes and technologies using emerging technologies and cloud native tools
What you will need:
•3 years of strong, hands-on relevant experience
•Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially with Jenkins using Groovy.
•Hands-on experience with container-based technologies, especially Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EKS, OpenShift
•Hands-on experience with AWS managed services (VPC, S3, EC2, EKS, RDS), including monitoring and analytics tools
•Familiarity with configuration management
•Expert scripting skills (Bash, Perl, Python)
•Solid understanding of microservice concepts
•Experience with code management systems (Git, bitBucket)
•Experience maintaining Java web applications (Spring Boot, Angular)
•Keen communication and teamwork abilities
•Understand Agile development process
•Able to work with peers in different geolocations.
