RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Senior Web Automation Quality Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract to hire basis.
Summary:
This candidate will be a part of the front-end team supporting the Personalization Acceleration efforts. The goal of this initiative is to provide customers with meaningful and relevant experiences when using the app and shopping in stores. The back-end team would investigate a customer's account and pull up UPCs of frequently purchased items, while the front-end team would manage what items are recommended and displayed when a customer goes to start their cart in the app. This team is looking for a true senior level resource who can jump in and hit the ground running with not much ramp up time.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of experience of quality assurance and testing as well as developing automation frameworks and automated tests
* 3 years of experience in an automation and SOA QE leadership capacity; The actual QA experience should be more than 3 years
* Experience as a lead tester; The ideal candidate will need to thrive in a fast type of environment
* Strong knowledge of Web automation testing preferably Playwright/WDIO and JavaScript/TypeScript
* Strong knowledge of QA concepts, Reporting, Metrics, Test case management, Defect Management
* Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages
* Strong technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of multiple lines of business
* Strong understanding of SOA Testing concepts, API testing, Integration tests and Contract tests
* Understanding of risk assessment and risk management procedures
* Proven analytical skills, root-cause analysis skills, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills
* Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels of the organization
* Ability to apply knowledge of project methodology and business processes to test processes
* Ability to travel independently as required
* Experience with SOA automation tools like Postman is desired
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
