An Indiana-based services company is currently seeking an experienced Finance professional to join their staff as their new VP of Finance. In this role, the VP of Finance will be responsible for directing the financial affairs of the organization, including preparing financial analyses of operations and proformas of new projects and reviewing systems for efficiency improvement.

- Develop, analyzes and interprets statistical and accounting information in order to assess operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and industry benchmarks
- Prepare and reviews proformas and budgets of new and existing operations
- Analyze and develops policies, procedures and systems to ensure effective internal controls, optimum efficiencies and improvement of processes
- Work with External Auditors and other third parties on financial matters, as necessary
- Participate in the company's review of appropriate insurance coverage against property loss and potential liability
- Oversee and directs all financial reporting in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure integrity of financial statements including the balance sheet
- Support the company cost control and operational efficiencies
- Plan and manage the annual budgeting process for all departments
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 7 years of experience in a Senior-level Accounting and/or Finance role
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Previous experience with Financial Analysis
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Solid analytical and research skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
