We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Experienced Tax Associate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting and a proven track record of delivering high-quality work. As an Experienced Tax Associate, you will be responsible for handling a variety of tax-related tasks and providing support to our tax department.
Requirements
- Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis on complex tax issues
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
- Mentor and train junior staff members
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to team members and clients
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting or related field
- Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations and laws
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (experience with Lacerte is a plus)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership experience preferred
