A Westside financial services firm is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team
In this newly created role, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for owning the accounting, financial management, and GL operations for a new fund that is being created
To be successful in this Staff Accountant role, the candidate must have great presentation, communication skills, and a desire to learn

What do you need for this Staff Accountant role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Advanced Excel
• Familiarity with an ERP would be helpful

What will you need in this Staff Accountant role?

• Assist with preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting month-end closes
• Maintain and update financial records while ensuring their accuracy and compliance
• Assist the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Process AP invoices
• Monitor AR and follow up on outstanding payments
• Assist with variance analysis
• Assist with annual audit
