**Duties**

Provide technical and industry knowledge to contribute to the completion of multiple engagement phases in the transportation electrification phase. Develop significant market knowledge about companies, products, and services in North America including electric vehicle (EV) charging hardware manufacturer, charge point operator (CPOs), backend provider, load management software, roaming platforms, etc. Keep abreast about developments on government/state level (e.g., incentives, infrastructure bill, NEVI requirements). Track latest trends/upcoming developments (ISO 15118-20), bi-directional, Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G), wireless charging, OCPP 2.0, megawatt charging system. Conduct situation analysis through client interviews and documents research to determine the business strengths and weaknesses to identify preliminary engagement priorities. Manage projects from prospect to client deliverable. Lead a small to medium size effort or project team consisting of analysts and senior analysts. Delegate teamwork assignments through various phases of an engagement. Support developing a standardized, compelling, and profitable transportation electrification offering for Black & Veatch. Develop financial acumen specific to Black & Veatch's financial tracking tools and process to help maximize project management performance and profitability. Manage client expectations within defined scope of engagement. Transfer knowledge, capabilities, and skills to improve other's knowledge levels. Develop and present recommendations to the client by leveraging technical as well as functional knowledge in the transportation electrification space. Support a variety of clients in the EV charging market with strategic advisory, management services and engineering solutions from a technical, economic, and regulatory perspective. Support clients to develop and implement energy transition strategies to meet their emissions reduction commitments. Understand and forecast Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions to help companies and clients understand their full value chain emissions and focus their efforts on the greatest reduction opportunities. Utilize the Argonne National Laboratories Greenhouse Gas, Regulated Emissions and Energy Use in Technologies (GREET) Model to estimate greenhouse gas reduction resulting from clients fleet electrification effort. Perform Well-to-Pump analysis for emissions resulting from fuel production and distribution as well as Well-to-Wheels analysis for emissions resulting from vehicle operations. Present cost and revenue streams associated with the installation and operation of charging infrastructure. Apply detailed knowledge of EVs to produce work products such as economic comparison of internal combustion engine vehicle fleet versus an EV Fleet by using MS Excel modeling skills. Travel to client locations and conferences to deliver presentation on topics related to energy and transpiration sector as need arises. Support proposals, business development, and execution of management consulting projects relating to EVs, sustainability, and renewable energy. Support the Transaction Services team on various due diligence engagements related to development, transaction and refinancing of various energy projects including domestic electric generation assets (solar, wind, coal, natural gas, biomass, etc.). Perform technical due diligence reviews for renewable generation assets, natural gas distribution and transmission assets, as well as RNG and hydrogen production. Provide technical and financial analysis on the overall facility design and performance, material contracts and agreement, O&M expense projections, pro forma modeling, and projected capital costs. **Requirements**

Bachelors degree in Energy Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline plus at least four years of related experience in an engineering or business consulting environment. Must have experience working with Electric Vehicles (EV), including experience researching companies, products, and services in North America and globally including EV charging hardware manufacturer, charge point operator (CPOs), backend provider, load management software, and roaming platforms. Must have experience developing and presenting EV recommendations and alternatives to the client by leveraging technical as well as functional knowledge in the transportation electrification space. Must have experience working with renewable energy including the different types of renewable energy systems, such as solar, wind, hydro, biomass, geothermal, and tidal. Must have experience communicating and explaining complex technical concepts in simple and clear terms, using appropriate language, tone, and style. Must have experience managing projects from prospect to client deliverables. Must have experience leading small to medium size effort or project teams. Must have experience inspecting and modeling data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making. Must have experience working and sustaining business within EV, renewable energy, utility, and financial markets. Remote work is permitted within the continental United States. Up to 50% national travel required. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English.
