Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Nurse to join our growing healthcare team.
As a Permanent Registered Nurse, you will be a critical player in our MedSurg, ER, or Float unit, providing top-quality care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, using your expertise to make a significant impact on patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct and personalized care to patients in the MedSurg, ER, or Float unit, assessing their condition, administering medication, observing reactions, and documenting the progress.
2. Respond swiftly and efficiently to emergencies, demonstrating high-level problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
4. Use advanced medical technology and equipment proficiently, ensuring accurate monitoring and treatment of patients.
5. Float between different departments as required, adapting quickly to new environments and effectively managing a diverse patient caseload.
6. Educate patients and their families about their conditions and teach appropriate post-hospital care.
7. Display empathy, respect, and professionalism at all times, advocating for patients and upholding the highest standards of nursing care.
Qualifications:
1. Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
2. Ideally a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, with specific experience in MedSurg, ER, and float nursing.
3. Exceptional clinical skills with the ability to work under pressure
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and establish a compassionate rapport with patients.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions.
6. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
