Title: Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

One of the south's fastest growing law firms is in need of a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and extensive experience representing clients in complex litigation cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial case evaluations and determine the viability of potential personal injury claims.
  • Investigate claims and gather evidence to build a strong case.
  • Develop legal strategies and arguments for cases.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in court and at mediation or settlement conferences.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel or insurance companies.
  • Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates and advice.
  • Manage a caseload effectively and efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in personal injury law and legal precedents.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing support staff and/or other attorneys.
  • Passionate about advocating for clients' rights.
