(HYBRID work schedule) Participates in all phases of the FPGA development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test of all products Applies computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of digital design/architecture for the target application Independently performs advanced digital architecture and design Works with Systems Engineers and Program Management to decompose system level requirements Supports technical reviews and presents both internally and externally to customers Works closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system Develops estimates for complex task duration, supporting the development of a project schedule and budget Experience working with control laws, controller development, or controller tuning Develops Testbench procedures, Testbench scripting programs, and related documentation Contributes to determining, estimating, and validating the cost and scope of development efforts to ensure development work performed meets program cost, schedule, and technical constraints. Implement assigned projects and project tasks to provide software engineering solutions including software design, documentation, verification and validation, used in evaluating, testing and processing high fidelity data acquisition systems Perform technical review, design analysis, development and selection of hardware and mission critical computer software Should have some of the following... Circuit design, documentation and implementation of high-speed digital electronics, FPGAs, and embedded processor systems Strong understanding of synchronous design practices and data flow management (FIFOs, memories, pipelining) Experience in signal and power integrity analysis of digital/FPGA designs Xilinx and SoCs, Including FPGA tool suites such as Vivado and ISE Experience in developing specifications, and resource requirements for digital/FPGA designs I2C, SPI, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, DDR3/4, etc. with C/C and Python Interested in hearing more?
