Responsibilities
What you'll be able to do:
Support the development and review of project work plans regarding software engineering and translate product requirements into control system specifications and software designs that deliver the captured requirements. Assist with troubleshooting vehicle/powertrain system functional and diagnostic issues, as well as determine and validate corrective actions and preventive measures. Capture and maintain requirements for vehicle control features, document changes using Ford's MBD process and tools, and support the creation and execution of validation plans using simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and in-vehicle resources. Support control system project planning and program management to meet functional, quality, and timing objectives.

Qualifications
You'll have...

• Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in the position offered or 2 years of experience developing or designing software using Matlab, Simulink, or C programming.
• 2 years of experience designing, simulating, or testing algorithms for embedded hardware or software.
• Employee reports to office in Dearborn, MI. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.

We are offering a salary of $86,672 to $171,783 per year.
