JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Provides accounting support and expertise to the accounting department
- Maintains bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and updating information as needed
- Communicates with previous clients and customers to request payment and arranges payment plans where needed
- Collects payments from customers and accurately recording them in the system
- Creates reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses
- Updates client accounts based on payment or contact information
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associated degree in accounting preferred
- 1 year previous billing experience preferred
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Well organized
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
